Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins crushes Holy Family Catholic

Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Holy Family Catholic Fire (Victoria, MN), 80-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hopkins upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Royals host Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Section 2 bout on Friday, January 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-3.
Next up, the Fire play the Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Holy Family Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Stars go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 42-40 non-league loss to Visitation (Mendota Heights, MN).
