North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Humble Wildcats (Humble, TX), 65-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Shore upgrades its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Atascocita (Humble, TX) to play the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-18. Atascocita lost 42-33 in their recent league bout against King (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Kingwood Mustangs (Kingwood, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Humble will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 16-11 record after their 51-29 league loss to West Brook (Beaumont, TX).
