The Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA) basketball nipped the host Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), 42-40 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Titans (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA). The Pioneers go into the Cumberland test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Thomas Walker got by Castlewood (Castlewood, VA), 43-32, in a league test.
The Generals now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Central Wise for a Mountain test on Tuesday, January 10. Lee will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 61-34 league win over Abingdon (Abingdon, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-3.
