Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA), 56-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Norfolk Academy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA) to play the Trojans in a TCIS bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Walsingham Academy lost 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA)

Next up, the Mighty Oaks play the Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Norfolk Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 66-49 league loss to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).
