Ohio High School Basketball - Watkins Memorial overwhelmed by Olentangy Berlin

The Olentangy Berlin Bears basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Watkins Memorial Warriors to 12 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bears now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Upper Arlington for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 10. Olentangy Berlin will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Dublin Coffman (Dublin, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 11-3.

With the defeat, Watkins Memorial moves to 8-5 on the year. The Warriors host Granville (Granville, OH) to meet the Blue Aces in a Licking County - Buckeye match on Wednesday, January 11. The Blue Aces enter the match with a record of 11-1. Granville won 62-11 in their recent league match against Licking Valley (Newark, OH)
