Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) and the host Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), saw Peach County's basketball squad overcome Perry by a tally of 56-37.

With the victory, Peach County improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to confront the Knights in a AAA Region 2 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-8.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Perry will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 61-26 league loss to Griffin (Griffin, GA).
