The Washington Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Riggs Governors to 49 in the Warriors league victory on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Gorman for a AA contest on Monday, January 9. Washington will battle a Knights team coming off a 50-42 league win over Watertown (Watertown, SD). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.

The Governors (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Tatanka come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Lakota Tech was defeated by Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD), 63-49, in a league contest.
