Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Riddle Irish (Riddle, OR), 48-13 in a league bout.

With the victory, Powers upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Cruisers travel to Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR) to play the Hornets in a 1A Skyline bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Camas Valley lost 39-28 in their recent league bout against New Hope Christian (Grants Pass, OR)

Next up, the Irish play the Prospect Cougars (Prospect, OR) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Riddle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record.
