Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), 34-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dayton upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Dust Devils host Lowry (Winnemucca, NV) to play the Buckaroos in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Buckaroos come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Lowry won 43-40 in their recent non-league bout against North Valleys (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Spartans play the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Spring Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
