The Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) basketball knocked off the visiting Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), 36-27 in Saturday's league test.

The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians go into the test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Elko went down by Fernley (Fernley, NV), 52-51, in a league test.

The Dust Devils now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Lowry for a test on Friday, January 13. Dayton will encounter a Buckaroos squad coming off a 38-34 league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 3-5.
