The Panguitch Bobcats (Panguitch, UT) basketball nipped the visiting Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT), 33-26 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bobcats (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Duchesne (Duchesne, UT). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record.

The Badgers now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Emery for a non-league test on Monday, January 9. Wayne will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Spartans record now stands at 11-1.
