South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Academia Avance Guerreros Jaguares (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rams face the Hoover Tornados (Glendale, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. South Gate will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Tornados enter the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Academia Avance (Los Angeles, CA).

The Guerreros Jaguares now have a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Collins Family for a Eastside challenge on Monday, January 9. Academia Avance will face a Jaguars team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-1.
