In Saturday's league test, the visiting Taft School Big Red ice hockey team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Avon Old Farms Beavers.

The Big Red (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Westminster School (Simsbury, CT). The Martlets enter the test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Westminster School held off Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY), 6-3, in a league test.
