Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Centerville Bulldogs (Centerville, IN), 48-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northeastern upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Knights host Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Cambridge City Lincoln won 50-35 in their recent non-league bout against Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Randolph Southern Rebels (Lynn, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Centerville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
