New York High School Basketball - Vernon-Verona-Sherrill knocked off by Camden

The Camden Blue Devils basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils to 51 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Sunday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Notre Dame for a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial contest on Tuesday, January 9. Camden will battle a Jugglers team coming off a 66-49 league loss to Oneida (Oneida, NY). The Jugglers record now stands at 0-4.
The Red Devils (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY). The Thunder enter the Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, Central Valley Academy ran past Whitesboro (Marcy, NY), 77-42, in a non-league contest.
