In Tuesday's league test, the Achievement First Providence Falcons (Providence, RI) basketball squad defeated the host Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE (Cumberland, RI), by a final score of 46-31.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI) in a Division III test, on Thursday, January 9. Achievement First Providence will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Scarlet Knights come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 56-46 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, RI).

The PRIDE (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Prout (Wakefield, RI). The Crusaders come into the Division III test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Prout overcame Achievement First Providence (Providence, RI), 82-74, in a league test.
