The Mustangs (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians come into the AAAA Region 4 challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Gilbert was tipped by South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 71-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Airport will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The War Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 54-45 league loss to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC).
