With the victory, Alamo Navajo advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Carrizozo (Carrizozo, NM) to meet the Grizzlies in a A District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a record of 3-6.

The Warriors now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest for a A District 1 test on Saturday, January 25.
