New York High School Basketball - Andover overwhelms Alfred-Almond

The Andover Panthers basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Alfred-Almond Eagles to 28 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Panthers now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hammondsport for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 8. Andover will confront a Lakers team coming off a 83-28 league loss to Jasper-Troupsburg (Jasper, NY). The Lakers record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Alfred-Almond falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Addison (Addison, NY) to confront the Knights in a Section 5 Steuben - I game on Thursday, January 9. The Knights go into the game with a record of 3-8. Addison lost 80-37 in their recent non-league game against Waverly (Waverly, NY)
