The Altamont Knights basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Childersburg Tigers to 43 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now have a 1-14 record. They play next when they host Comer for a 3A Area 8 game on Thursday, January 9. Altamont will confront a Tigers team coming off a 84-62 non-league win over Vincent (Vincent, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Childersburg falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Tigers host Central of Coosa County (Rockford, AL) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 7-4. Central of Coosa County won 63-51 in their recent non-league game against Dadeville (Dadeville, AL)
