The Eastland Cougars basketball team scored 75 points and limited the host Amboy Clippers to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Polo for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South game on Thursday, January 9. Eastland will confront a Marcos team coming off a 71-37 non-league loss to Forreston (Forreston, IL). The Marcos record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Amboy falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL) to confront the Raiders in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South game on Thursday, January 9.
