In Tuesday's league contest, the host Anchor Bay Tars basketball team scored a close 51-46 triumph over the Fraser Ramblers.
The Tars (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI). The Lancers go into the Macomb Area - Blue contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, L'Anse Creuse was tipped by Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI), 69-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Ramblers battle the Cousino Patriots (Warren, MI) in a Macomb Area - Blue contest, on Thursday, January 9. Fraser will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record. The Patriots go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 67-43 league loss to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI).
