North Carolina High School Basketball - Parkwood held off by Anson

January 7, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112

In Tuesday's league test, the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) basketball squad got by the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), by a score of 58-51.

Next, the Bearcats encounter the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Colts enter the outing with a 6-10 record after their 65-62 league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).

The Wolf Pack (3-12) will now prepare for their outing against Piedmont (Monroe, NC). The Panthers enter the 2A/3A Rocky River outing with a 5-10 record.
