In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Monterey Bay Academy basketball team scored a big 57-28 win over the Anzar Hawks.
The (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Kirby Prep (Santa Cruz, CA). The Griffins come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Kirby Prep was trounced by Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA), 59-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Trinity Christian Warriors (Monterey, CA) in a PCAL - Santa Lucia contest, on Thursday, January 9. Anzar will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 68-42 league loss to York (Monterey, CA).
