Illinois High School Basketball - Morrison overwhelms Ashton-Franklin Center

January 7, 2025: Morrison, IL 61270

The Morrison Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders to 24 in the Mustangs league win on Tuesday.

The Mustangs (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Fulton (Fulton, IL). The Steamers come into the Northwest Upstate Illini - South contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Fulton smashed Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL), 63-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) in a contest, on Thursday, January 9. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Clippers come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 57-37 non-league loss to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL).
