Washington High School Basketball - Asotin holds off Garfield-Palouse

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Asotin Panthers basketball team scored a close 53-52 triumph over the Garfield-Palouse Vikings.
The Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Colfax (Colfax, WA). The Bulldogs go into the 2B Bi-County contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Colfax nipped Clarkston (Clarkston, WA), 65-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Waitsburg Cardinals (Waitsburg, WA) in a 1B Southeast contest, on Friday, January 10. Garfield-Palouse will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 55-13 league loss to Pomeroy (Pomeroy, WA).
