Illinois High School Basketball - South Elgin victorious over Aurora East

January 7, 2025: Aurora, IL 60505

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting South Elgin Storm basketball team scored a good 54-45 triumph over the Aurora East Tomcats.

The Storm (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals go into the Upstate Eight contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Larkin topped Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL), 59-55, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tomcats encounter the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Aurora East will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 60-45 non-league loss to Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL).
