The Elyria Pioneers (Elyria, OH) basketball crushed the visiting Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH), 101-65 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Pioneers now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Steele for a Southwestern bout on Thursday, January 9. Elyria will play a Comets team coming off a 69-64 league loss to Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH). The Comets record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Avon Lake falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Shoremen host Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Southwestern bout on Saturday, January 11.
