The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks (Orangeburg, SC) and the visiting Scott's Branch Eagles (Summerton, SC), observed Bethune-Bowman's basketball team overwhelm Scott's Branch by a margin of 67-44.

In their last challenge, Military Magnet Academy was trounced by North Charleston (North Charleston, SC), 90-52, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Branchville Yellow Jackets (Branchville, SC) in a A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Scott's Branch will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 42-41 non-league loss to Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC).
