In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders basketball team scored a big 63-36 triumph over the Boyer Valley Bulldogs.

The Crusaders (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Glidden-Ralston was trounced by Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA), 52-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Woodbury Central Wildcats (Moville, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. Boyer Valley will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 65-57 non-league loss to Hinton (Hinton, IA).
