The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Briarfield Academy Rebels (Lake Providence, LA) and the visiting Union Christian Academy Lions (Farmerville, LA), observed Briarfield Academy's basketball team overwhelm Union Christian Academy by a margin of 52-13.
The Rebels (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central School (Grand Cane, LA). The Pioneers come into the MAIS 2A District 4 challenge with a 0-4 record.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Northeast Baptist Knights (West Monroe, LA) in a MAIS 2A District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Union Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record.
