    The Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT) basketball edged the host Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT), 70-67 in Tuesday's league bout.

    The Lancers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Stratford for a Southwest bout on Friday, January 10. Notre Dame Prep will play a Red Devils team coming off a 55-41 league loss to Weston (Weston, CT). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-4.

    With the loss, Bunnell falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to play the Presidents in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Presidents go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Harding won 55-51 in their recent non-league bout against Maloney (Meriden, CT)
