In Tuesday's league contest, the host Burkburnett Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 87-56 triumph over the Castleberry Lions.

The Bulldogs (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Decatur (Decatur, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region I District 7 contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, Decatur smashed Springtown (Springtown, TX), 67-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 contest, on Friday, January 10. Castleberry will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Bullfrogs go into the contest with a 10-10 record after their 72-67 league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX).
