The Centennial Knights (Roswell, GA) basketball edged the host Westminster Wildcats (Atlanta, GA), 80-74 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Kell for a AAAA Region 6 bout on Friday, January 10. Centennial will play a Longhorns team coming off a 81-25 league win over Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Westminster falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lovett (Atlanta, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Lovett won 79-68 in their recent non-league bout against Hart County (Hartwell, GA)
