In Tuesday's league contest, the host Cheltenham Panthers basketball team scored a big 70-47 triumph over the Springfield Township Spartans.
The Panthers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Colonials go into the Suburban One - American contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Plymouth Whitemarsh was trounced by Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA), 65-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Quakertown Panthers (Quakertown, PA) in a Suburban One - American contest, on Friday, January 10. Springfield Township will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 1-10 record after their 76-59 league loss to Abington (Abington, PA).
