Tennessee High School Basketball - Dobyns-Bennett routs Cherokee

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Dobyns-Bennett Indians basketball team scored a big 63-30 triumph over the Cherokee Chiefs.
The Indians (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Hilltoppers go into the 4A District 1 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Science Hill was trounced by Greeneville (Greeneville, TN), 64-54, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Claiborne Bulldogs (New Tazewell, TN) in a 3A District 2 contest, on Friday, January 10. Cherokee will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 84-34 league loss to Greeneville (Greeneville, TN).
