Texas High School Basketball - Saginaw can't hold off Chisholm Trail

Chisholm Trail Rangers (Fort Worth, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Saginaw Rough Riders (Saginaw, TX), 63-56 in a league match.

With the victory, Chisholm Trail upgrades its record to 14-7 on the year. The Rangers host Granbury (Granbury, TX) to face the Pirates in a 5A Region I District 5 match on Friday, January 10. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 11-15. Granbury lost 54-53 in their recent league match against Aledo (Aledo, TX)

The Rough Riders now sport a 7-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fossil Ridge for a 5A Region I District 5 match on Friday, January 10. Saginaw will face a Panthers squad coming off a 49-34 league loss to Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-13.
