With the victory, Mendota advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Aztecs host Tranquillity (Tranquillity, CA) to face the Tigers in a West Sierra match on Friday, January 10. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-12. Tranquillity lost 51-44 in their recent non-league match against Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA)

The Tribe now own a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sierra for a Northwest Sequoia match on Tuesday, January 14.
