The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Saint Jo Panthers (Saint Jo, TX) and the visiting Christ Academy Warriors (Wichita Falls, TX), observed Saint Jo's basketball team knock off Christ Academy by a score of 53-33.
The Panthers (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Gold-Burg (Bowie, TX). The Bears come into the 1A Region III District 18 challenge with a 2-6 record.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Azle Christian Fighting Crusaders (Azle, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Christ Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record.
