The White Plains Wildcats basketball team scored 84 points and limited the host Cleburne County Tigers to 59 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 9-13 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee County for a 4A Area 12 game on Friday, January 10. White Plains will confront a Warriors team coming off a 70-68 league loss to Alexandria (Alexandria, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Cleburne County falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Munford (Munford, AL) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Lions go into the game with a record of 11-3. Munford won 44-37 in their recent non-league game against Donoho (Anniston, AL)
