The Clements Colts basketball squad (Athens, AL), was crushed 64-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL)
With the victory, Rogers advances its record to 7-10 on the year. The Pirates host Covenant Christian (Tuscumbia, AL) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 3-12. Covenant Christian lost 49-39 in their recent non-league battle against Sheffield (Sheffield, AL)
The Colts now own a 3-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lauderdale County for a 3A Area 16 battle on Friday, January 10. Clements will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 86-28 non-league loss to Loretto (Loretto, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.
