The Salem Seminoles basketball squad (Conyers, GA), was nudged 45-43 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA)
With the victory, Columbia advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Eagles host Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA) to meet the Wolverines in a AA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 10. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 6-9. Miller Grove lost 61-58 in their recent league battle against Redan (Stone Mountain, GA)
The Seminoles now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Drew Charter for a AA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 10. Salem will meet a squad coming off a 57-55 non-league loss to Cristo Rey Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The record now stands at 7-7.
