The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK) and the host Ninilchik Wolverines (Ninilchik, AK), observed Cook Inlet Academy's basketball team knock off Ninilchik by a score of 76-66.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Birchwood Christian (Chugiak, AK). The Warriors come into the 1A Peninsula challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Birchwood Christian dropped by Cook Inlet Academy (Soldotna, AK), 65-36, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Ninilchik will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record.
