The Pontotoc Warriors basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Corinth Warriors to 54 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now have a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lafayette for a 5A Region 1 game on Thursday, January 9. Pontotoc will confront a Commodores team coming off a 52-37 league loss to New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Commodores record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Corinth falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Warriors host Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Lions go into the game with a record of 9-6. Biggersville won 57-22 in their recent league game against Tremont (Tremont, MS)
