In Tuesday's league test, the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Corpus Christi Moody Trojans (Corpus Christi, TX), by a score of 59-21.

Next, the Hornets clash with the Carroll Tigers (Corpus Christi, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 29 test, on Friday, January 10. Flour Bluff will attempt to improve on its 14-13 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 13-14 record after their 56-41 league win over Alice (Alice, TX).

The Trojans (2-21) will now prepare for their test against Gregory-Portland (Portland, TX). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region IV District 29 test with a 23-5 record. In their last test, Gregory-Portland bounced King (Corpus Christi, TX), 74-53, in a league test.
