The Providence Christian Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Cottonwood Bears to 32 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they host Houston County for a 2A Area 2 game on Thursday, January 9. Providence Christian will confront a Lions team coming off a 62-48 league loss to Geneva County (Hartford, AL). The Lions record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, Cottonwood falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Samson (Samson, AL) to confront the Tigers in a 2A Area 2 game on Thursday, January 9. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-9. Samson lost 66-56 in their recent league game against Geneva County (Hartford, AL)
