Georgia High School Basketball - Deerfield-Windsor knocks off Terrell Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Deerfield-Windsor Knights basketball team scored a good 43-29 win over the Terrell Academy Eagles.
The Knights (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Valwood (Valdosta, GA). The Valiants come into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Valwood was topped by Brookwood (Thomasville, GA), 60-37, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Citizens Christian Academy Patriots (Douglas, GA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Terrell Academy will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 8-6 record after their 61-55 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA).
