Harts Bluff Bulldogs (Mt. Pleasant, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Detroit Eagles (Detroit, TX), 69-27 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Harts Bluff advances its record to 18-10 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Pewitt (Omaha, TX) to meet the Brahmas in a 2A Region II District 16 match on Friday, January 10. The Brahmas enter the match with a record of 11-12. Pewitt won 46-30 in their recent non-league match against Harmony (Big Sandy, TX)

The Eagles now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowie for a 2A Region II District 16 test on Saturday, January 11.
