In Tuesday's league contest, the host Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats basketball team scored a big 83-56 win over the St. Michael Cardinals.
The Wildcats (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against BASIS Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ). The Yetis come into the 1A North contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, BASIS Flagstaff smashed Music Mountain (Peach Springs, AZ), 61-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the El Capitan Eagles (Colorado City, AZ) in a 1A North contest, on Saturday, January 11. St. Michael will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 98-34 non-league win over Grand Canyon (Grand Canyon, AZ).
