In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host South Plainfield Tigers basketball team scored a good 63-47 triumph over the East Brunswick Bears.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ). The North Brunswick Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record.
In their next game, the Bears confront the Sayreville Bombers (Parlin, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. East Brunswick will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Bombers go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 59-53 non-league win over Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ).
